Flex is building a finance super app for business owners — reimagining every aspect of financial workflows and services for entrepreneurs. Since launching publicly in September 2023, the company has grown revenue over 25x and aims for profitability by mid 2025. Flex targets mid-market businesses ($3 - $100M revenue) that are underserved by current fintech solutions and rely on outdated regional banks. We see a ~$1T revenue opportunity that is largely untapped.

Flex is a fully remote company, and this role can be performed from anywhere.

About the Role

As a Travel Specialist at Flex, you will work with Flex cardmembers to respond to their requests, design memorable travel experiences, craft bespoke itineraries, and arrange retreats in their ideal home-away-from-home.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, budgets, and preferences.
• Coordinate transportation, accommodations, insurance, tours, and activities.
• Provide insights on destinations, cultural norms, weather, and local activities.
• Manage payments, bookings, and facilitate necessary transactions.
• Resolve travel issues, conflicts, cancellations, and refunds with vendors.
• Build and maintain relationships with travel vendors.
• Stay informed on current travel trends.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and interactions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in booking and coordinating international and domestic luxury group travel.
• Proven success in sales and providing high-end service.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Effective negotiation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of travel booking platforms.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Fluent in English; multilingual skills are a plus.
• Experience with music tours or business travel policies is advantageous.
• Availability during US business hours, despite remote work.

Education and Licensing

• Bachelor’s degree in tourism, travel, hospitality, business, or related field, or 5+ years relevant experience as a travel agent.
• Current licensing or certifications as required by your state.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
