TotalMed Allied seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Middletown, Rhode Island. 13-week duration, 40 hours per week, 8-hour days.

Immediate start with ASHA-SLP certification and state licensure; 1 year of experience preferred (6 months for exceptional candidates). The role involves diagnosing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders, developing therapy plans, screenings, and patient education, with documentation per state/insurer guidelines.

Formación

• 1 year of SLP experience required; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS and ASHA-SLP national certification with state licensure required.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to families, teachers, or medical professionals and maintain documentation per guidelines.
