Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based contract in Stafford, Virginia. The SLP will work with students, teachers, and parents to deliver comprehensive speech and language services and support academic development.

Responsibilities include assessments, IEP development, direct therapy with students in individual and group settings, progress monitoring, and coaching teachers on speech-language strategies throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
• State SLP license in the state of residence.
• New Grad accepted.
• Experience in school settings, pediatrics, or early childhood is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students with speech needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide training and resources to teachers and staff for classroom integration of speech goals.
