Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist to work in a Newport News, Virginia school setting. This 43-week assignment requires 40 hours per week with a travel component as applicable.

The SLP will conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, deliver direct therapy to students, and collaborate with teachers and families to support communication development throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• State SLP license in residence state.
• ASHA CCC credential required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate students for speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students.
• Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Train teachers and staff to support speech goals in class.
