Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a Yorktown, Virginia assignment in a school setting. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat students, develop and implement IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and families.

The CF-SLP will provide direct services for 43 weeks, typically 40 hours per week, with 8-hour days. Strong communication skills and state licensure are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• CF SLP accepted.
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
• State SLP license in state of residence preferred.
• Experience in school setting, early childhood, or pediatrics.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development and assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students with speech needs.
• Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
• Train teachers and staff on integrating speech therapy goals into classroom activities.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes to adjust treatment plans.
