Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Laconia, NH. The role offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and on-site work. Immediate opening with a focus on diagnosing, treating, and supporting patients across varied settings.

Ideal candidates hold ASHA-SLP certification, BLS, and NH state licensure; 6 months experience is required, 1 year preferred. Travel background is beneficial; compensation includes a tax-free stipend and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP national certification with state licensing.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress and current status to families, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
