Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Englewood, FL. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across age groups, developing individualized plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an active SLP license in Florida, BLS certification, and may have CCC‑SLP and a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology.

Qualifications

• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Florida (state regulations)
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Ability to obtain appropriate licensure for travel position

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse age groups.
• Design individualized therapy plans based on evaluations and patient goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe therapy environment following infection control and regulatory standards.
