Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Monticello, Florida. The position offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, with travel benefits and competitive pay.
The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse populations, collaborate with clinical teams, and document progress in the EMR. Florida licensure and current BLS are required; CCC-SLP preferred.
Qualifications
- Valid SLP license per state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Master’s or higher degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- CCC-SLP certification preferred; not mandatory for all applicants.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
- Monitor progress and document in the EMR accurately.
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Maintain infection control and a safe treatment environment.
