Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This 13-week assignment requires 40 hours per week on a dayshift schedule in an acute care setting.

The SLP will assess and treat speech, language, voice, or swallowing disorders and develop plans of care for diverse patient populations. Required: BLS, ASHA-SLP certification, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• 1 year of travel therapy experience preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• ASHA-SLP Certification and state licensure are required; BLS certification also needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create and implement treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to families, teachers, or medical professionals.
