Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Anchorage, AK. This role requires an SLP with ASHA certification, BLS, and state licensing, with a preference for acute care experience.

The travel position includes 40 hours per week and a 13-week duration. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders, creating care plans, and providing education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• ASHA-SLP Certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Perform screenings and assessments as part of patient care.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and therapies.
• Document progress and communicate with care teams in a timely manner.
