Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Fresno, CA. This role involves evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, with a dedicated clinical team and competitive pay.

You will work 40 hours per week in an 8-hour shift, with licensure and BLS requirements, and opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and home practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines during therapy sessions.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
