Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Elk Grove, California. The role involves evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patients, with a focus on evidence-based therapy and family education.

You will work 40 hours per week in a facility setting, starting ASAP, with comprehensive benefits and a collaborative clinical team to support your travel experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license (state regulations)
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master's Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
• Current CCC-SLP certification (preferred)
• New grads welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages
• Design individualized therapy plans based on assessments and goals
• Document progress and maintain EMR records
• Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and home exercises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled treatment environment
