Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Elk Grove, CA. The SLP evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across ages, developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with care teams.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in California (CA)
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CCC-SLP credential or eligibility

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and patient goals
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe swallowing techniques
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
