Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hilltop, West Virginia. The role features a 5x8 shift in a skilled nursing facility, starting 11/30/2026 with guaranteed 35 hours per week and weekly pay between $2,441 and $2,579.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, therapy delivery, and collaboration with an interprofessional team, with licensure in WV and a Master’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Active West Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligible).
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Clinical experience in speech-language pathology; SNF/acute care preferred.
• Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility and participate in travel.
• Strong communication and collaboration with an interprofessional team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations in a SNF with acute care orientation.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans addressing communication disorders and dysphagia.
• Deliver therapy sessions, document progress, and adjust plans of care as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, progress, and home exercises; ensure safety and infection control.
• Maintain accurate charting and comply with facility policies and regulations.
