Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel position in Hilltop, West Virginia. The role requires 6 months of experience, ASHA-SLP certification, and state licensure. 35 hours per week, 7-hour shifts, and a 13-week duration are offered, with a travel designation and tax-free stipend TBD.

The SLP will diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders, create therapy plans, perform screenings, educate patients, and document progress per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires ASHA-SLP certification and state licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred for stronger candidates.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
• Conduct screenings and assess patient progress over time.
• Educate patients and families about communication disorders and therapy options.
• Report progress to colleagues, teachers, or medical staff with accurate documentation.
• Adhere to state and insurance guidelines for therapy services.
