Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Cumberland, MD. The role offers nightly shifts, a full-time schedule, and the opportunity to work across diverse patient settings while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC ).
• Master’s Degree or higher of Speech Language Pathology.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Speech Language Pathology experience, but New Grads are welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain infection control and safety during therapy sessions.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
