Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Mattoon, Illinois. The SLP evaluates and treats communication and swallowing disorders, developing individualized therapy plans and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Required: Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain detailed documentation in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
