Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Physical Therapist Assistant for a SNF assignment in Westfield, New Jersey. The role runs 13 weeks with a 40-hour week and a standard 8-hour shift, starting 09/28/2026.

You will support a PT team, assist with restorative activities, gait training, and ADLs to help patients recover and regain independence in a skilled nursing facility environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active NJ PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required prior to start.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a PTA in a SNF or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience with restorative nursing programs, ADL training, transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and common durable medical equipment preferred.
• Ability to assist with documentation in EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with patients in a skilled nursing facility under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help patients move better, feel better, and stay active during therapy sessions.
