Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners seeks a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Freehold, NJ. The role is 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts, days, and a 5x8 work pattern starting 09/28/2026. You will support patients recovering from injuries under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Physical Therapy, active NJ PTA license, and BLS. SNF experience and EMR documentation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Experience with modalities, transfers, gait training, restorative nursing preferred.
• Ability to document in electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Support gait training and use of therapeutic modalities to aid recovery.
• Document patient progress in the EMR system.
