Job summary

Preferred Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Fort Bragg, California. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift and a competitive pay package.

You will assess patients, develop and adjust plans of care, and document progress to support safe and effective recovery. Start ASAP with active PT licensure, current BLS/CPR, and at least 6 months of PT experience within the last five years.

Qualifications

• Active state license as a physical therapist is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.
• At least 6 months of PT experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clinical reasoning while evaluating patients, identifying diagnosis, and developing a comprehensive plan of care.
• Perform age-appropriate competency skills in area of practice and with respect to individual patient’s problems.
• Follow intervention protocols and alter plan of care appropriately.
• Document patient progress according to approved medical and facility documentation procedures.
• Discharge patient when goals have been met or medical necessity no longer warrants intervention.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and peers to contribute to the overall productivity of the team.

Education
