Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN for the SICU in Houston, TX. The position spans 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours weekly, with a busy Level 1 Trauma unit handling complex surgeries and critical conditions.

The role requires ICU experience, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and an RN license, with floating to other ICUs and EPIC charting familiarity. Travel experience preferred; starting 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in ICU or surgical critical care.
• Active RN license and ability to wait for license submission.
• Travel experience preferred or willingness to travel.
• Comfort with EPIC charting and fast-paced ICU environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill post-surgical ICU patients.
• Monitor ventilators, hemodynamics, and titrate drips as needed.
• Collaborate with trauma and surgical teams on complex cases.
