Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a placement in Houston, Texas. The role involves 12-hour day shifts, totaling 48 hours per week, with a travel-type assignment and a start date in late October. ICU/CVICU experience and ACLS/BLS credentials are required, with NIHSS preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in ICU/CCU settings.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level critical care in CVICU for postoperative cardiovascular patients.
• Manage care for open heart surgery, transplants, and ECMO patients where applicable.
• Utilize EPIC charting for documentation and continuity of care.
