Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Elgin, Illinois. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will work with students, teachers and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services, assessments, and IEP goals.

The role involves direct therapy in individual and group settings, progress documentation, and collaboration with educators to support academic and social development.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
• State SLP License in Illinois (IL).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs.
• Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom.
