Job summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting at Amergis provides and documents therapy services for students in accordance with individualized plans of care. This travel position requires performing student evaluations and delivering therapy with physician-ordered plans.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Maintains compliance with professional standards of practice.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate as per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements, and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations in the school setting and document therapy services.
• Provide and document therapy in accordance with the plan of care and physician orders.

Education

Active SLP Licensure (state of assignment)

CCC-SLP certification (preferred)
