Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist to support students in the South Paris, Maine area. The assignment runs 41 weeks with a typical 40-hour week and 8-hour daytime shifts, starting ASAP.

The SLP will provide school-based speech and language services, participate in IEP/eligibility meetings, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Travel positions include housing and benefits, with a focus on student success and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Speech/Language Pathologist (SLP) – School setting.
• Experience: New Grad accepted.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred via Child Find, IEP or general education interventions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and service delivery models.
• Deliver direct and consultative services in individual and small group settings within classrooms and therapy rooms.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, school psychologists and administrators to support language development.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Communicate progress and strategies with families and caregivers.
• Contribute to RTI/MTSS processes as appropriate.
