Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC seeks a Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment at a short-term acute care hospital in Lodi, CA. Start date is 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks, with 36 guaranteed hours per week and 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

CA-licensed RRT/CRT with NBRC credentials, BLS and ACLS are required; EPIC and Cerner experience preferred for backfills. Travel readiness and hospital setting experience are essential.

Qualifications

• NBRC credentials required; CA RCP license required; CPR/BLS required.
• EPIC and Cerner experience preferred for backfill assignments.
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and on 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and critical respiratory care services as ordered by the physician and in accordance with department policy
• Provide respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients; manage care for patients with respiratory disease
• Administer aerosolized therapies and oxygen therapy; document care in medical records and charge for services as required
• Monitor and manage patients on mechanical ventilation; assist with ventilator-related care and assessment
• Draw arterial blood gases per policy and physician orders; maintain accurate documentation and charts
• Collaborate with the care team, participate in training of new staff, and contribute to department records and procedural compliance
