Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a day shift hospital position in Lodi, California. The assignment requires EPIC and Cerner experience and an RRT/CRT credential, with CA licensure and BLS/ACLS in place.

The role supports respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients in a 13-week travel assignment, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour days. Local candidates considered on the travel rate basis.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT credential required.
• RCP license required in CA.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty within the last 3 months.
• Cerner and EPIC experience must be documented in employment history.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents appropriateness of prescribed respiratory therapy for patients.
• Administers aerosol and oxygen therapy and maintains patient charts.
• Draws arterial blood gases per policy and physician order.
• Provides care to ventilator patients.
• Assists with department record keeping and participates in training and supervision of new employees.
• Documents care given and maintains treatment records.
