Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care on a 13-week contract in Rapid City, SD. You will collaborate with physicians, RNs and other therapists to develop and execute patient care plans during the COVID-19 crisis.

The role requires proven respiratory therapy experience, current CPR/BCLS certification, and strong communication skills. Expect a 3x12 rotating shift and a benefits package including health insurance, 401K matching, and

Qualificações

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication with the staff, physicians, patients and families
• At least 2 years of work experience

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan
• Provide respiratory care to patients with complex conditions
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Promote continuous quality improvement
• Teach and counsel patients and families

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to help us to provide quality patient care during this COVID 19 Crisis. As a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists.
