Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for ShoreCare to provide comprehensive respiratory care across multiple New Jersey locations, floating to sites as needed under supervision of Respiratory Services leadership.

The role requires AMA approved Respiratory Care training, an Associate's degree, state licenses (NJ RCP, NJ RRT) and BLS certification, with a minimum of 2 years acute care experience; Bachelor's degree and advanced certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License and NJ Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate.
• AHA Basic Life Support Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors respiratory care procedures per physician orders.
• Operates and maintains ventilators and related equipment.
• Documents patient response in EPIC and coordinates with care teams.
• Assess and respond to life-support needs and emergencies.
