Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for Shore Care. Under supervision, you will provide and administer all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment across the HMH Network, floating to locations as needed.

Requirements include graduation from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program, an Associate's degree, 2 years of acute care respiratory experience, and 1 year of travel experience or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associate's degree required.
• Minimum of two years recent respiratory care experience in acute care.
• Minimum of one year travel experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide and administer all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment.
• Support multiple locations statewide and float to locations as needed.
• Work under supervision of Shore Care office and Directors/Supervisors.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist, Shore Care under the supervision of the Shore Care office and assigned Director of Respiratory Services, Technical Supervisor, Shift Supervisors, provides and administers all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment as stated in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual. This job supports multiple locations statewide across the HMH Network and will be expected to float to locations as needed.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associate's degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical aspects of Respiratory Care.
• Minimum of two (2) years recent experience of respiratory care experience in acute care setting.
• Minimum of one (1) year travel experience or equivalent required.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Bachelor's of Science Degree.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• NJ Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.
