Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role involves pediatric respiratory care in an acute care setting, with 12-hour day shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Requirements include NBRC RRT, ACLS, BLS, NRP, current licensure, and at least 2 years of credentialed respiratory care experience; travel to multiple units is possible, with EPIC EMR training provided.

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC credential.
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years as Credentialed Respiratory Care Practitioner; pediatric expertise preferred.
• Active state licensure; ability to work in a multi-hospital travel setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in an acute care setting.
• Review and maintain care plans; adjust therapies as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Operate EPIC EMR; use Servo ventilators, BIPAP, Airvo, and MetNeb.
• Floats to other units as needed; orientation includes up to 3 weeks of training.
