The role requires delivering high-quality patient treatment and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during assigned shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provides respiratory care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes, reviews and maintains care plans, performs evaluations, and adjusts care appropriately. The role includes team-based delivery of care for distressed newborns and during C-section procedures. Equipment utilized includes Epic computerized charting (Electronic Medical Record), scanning of medication and supply utilization, Servo ventilators, BIPAP (V-60, Vision), Airvo, and MetNeb.


• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC, ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); valid licensure; minimum of 2 years experience as a Credentialed Respiratory Care Practitioner with adult intubation skills; current CPR and neonatal resuscitation certification.


• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, with every other weekend shifts.


• Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of experience as a Credentialed Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred.


• Additional Information: Will not work alone, call when needed, floating to other units/departments permitted, orientation includes up to 3 weeks of department-specific training after preceptor observation and check-off, EPIC training required.
