Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Butte, Montana. The position requires a NBRC-approved program graduate with a valid RRT license and BLS, working 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Qualifications

• NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program from an accredited institution.
• Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic testing procedures including arterial gases and respiratory assessments.
• Oversees and troubleshoots medical equipment to ensure optimal patient care.
• Initiates respiratory protocols and interventions based on clinical assessments.
• Administers medications safely and evaluates their effects, communicating progress to staff and physicians.
• Maintains awareness of patients' overall condition, making appropriate care recommendations.
• Provides patient and family education on health promotion, wellness, and self-care techniques.
• Completes accurate documentation of patient care and clinical activities, including productivity records.
