Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift travel assignment in Butte, Montana. Candidates should be NBRC-approved graduates with a current state license and at least 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy.

Your responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, administering medications, and educating patients. Exceptional benefits begin on day one, including medical and housing stipends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NBRC‑approved Respiratory Therapist program from an accredited institution.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Current, active state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (license required if applicable).
• BLS certification required – must be AHA‑issued and must not expire prior to assignment start.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing procedures.
• Initiate and manage respiratory protocols and patient interventions.
• Administer medications and evaluate patient response.
• Provide patient and family education on self‑care techniques.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Act as a resource and mentor to other staff.
