Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a NICU/PICU/CVICU night shift position requiring NBRC credentialing, Ohio RRT license, and at least 2 years of pediatric critical care experience.

Details

• Work within RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU units caring for pediatric patients
• High-acuity (level 4) NICU patient population
• Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts (19:00-07:30)
• May float to Shaker Children's Rehab, Fairview NICU, Akron NICU, and Hillcrest NICU
• 8-13 week contract length depending on assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in PEDS, PICU, and NICU required
• NBRC certification required
• BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Ohio RRT license required in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
• Active certifications required; no pending certs accepted
• First-time travelers not considered

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care and neuro diagnostics support to critically ill pediatric patients across NICU, PICU, and CVICU units
• Smoke-free and nicotine-free facility with no exceptions
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine/cotinine required within 12 months of start, updated annually
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Two fingerprinting processes required, including one onsite prior to start
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments capped at 18 consecutive months, followed by a required 6-month break before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
