Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a NICU position requiring critical care and NICU experience along with RRT, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Work in a NICU/RRT unit at a short term acute care hospital with 418 staffed beds
• Patient ratio of 1:15
• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
• Weekend work required every other weekend
• Block scheduling required
• Floating between units required
• No on-call required
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Critical care and NICU experience required
• Current certifications: RRT, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
• Epic EMR experience required
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission, if applicable
• Valid state license required if applicable
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

Additional Information

• Travelers expected to float between sister facilities as needed
• Any color scrubs accepted
• No fee for parking
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during submission; post-offer RTO changes may not be accommodated
• First-time travelers considered for this position
• Only one submission allowed per Providence facility at a time
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
