Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a Traveling Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Reno, Nevada. The role involves providing respiratory care, collaborating with physicians and nurses, and ensuring patient safety across 12-hour shifts.

The candidate should have proven Respiratory Therapist experience, current CPR/BCLS certification, and preferably ACLS/PALS/NRP and related credentials. Travel assignments with licensing reimbursements and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Document promptly and accurately
• Promote continuous quality improvement
• Educate and counsel patients and families
