Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Reno, Nevada. The RT will work 36 hours per week with 12-hour rotating shifts, providing direct patient care across clinical areas and ensuring adherence to procedural guidelines.

Required credentials include NBRC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS in some locations; 1 year of acute care experience is preferred. The role entails equipment maintenance, documentation, and coordination with the care team to support patient

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience.
• NBRC, ACLS, BLS, PALS may be required in some areas.
• 2 years of experience mentioned in posting.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assemble, disinfect, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other hospital staff to optimize continuity of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
