Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Middletown, OH. As a member of our team, you'll provide advanced respiratory care and work with a dedicated clinical team to support patients in the facility.

The role requires NBRC-credentialed RRT, Ohio license, BLS, and at least one year of recent experience. You’ll enjoy comprehensive benefits and recruiter support as you travel to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• RRT credential from NBRC.
• Valid respiratory therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Assess patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests (lung capacity, blood/sputum samples).
• Administer treatments including chest physiotherapy and aerosols.
• Set up and monitor oxygen delivery at correct rates.
• Record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients/families on medications and equipment use.
• Perform other duties within RRT scope.
