Fusion Medical Staffing in Mason City, IA is seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment. You will provide advanced respiratory care in hospital settings, assess patients, and collaborate with physicians to implement treatment plans.

Required: 1 year of RRT experience, NBRC RRT credential, IA license, and BLS. Preferred ACLS/PALS and additional licenses. Travel-friendly mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• RRT credential from NBRC.
• Valid respiratory therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests and collect samples as needed.
• Treat patients with chest physiotherapy and aerosol therapies.
• Set up and monitor oxygen delivery and respiratory equipment.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and families on equipment use and medications.
• Perform other duties within RRT scope as assigned.
