Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist for an 8-week assignment in a facility in Springfield, OH. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and strong clinical team support.

The candidate must have 1 year of RRT experience, NBRC RRT credential, valid state license, and current BLS certification. ACLS/PALS preferred. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide advanced respiratory care to patients with diverse conditions.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• RRT credential from NBRC is required.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests and collect samples as needed.
• Treat patients using chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications.
• Set up and monitor respiratory equipment and oxygen delivery.
• Monitor and document patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and family members on therapies and equipment.
