Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Dallas, TX. You will deliver advanced respiratory care, assess and treat patients, and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to ensure high-quality care and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT credential from the NBRC is required.
• Current license to practice respiratory therapy in Texas.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• ACLS or PALS Certification is preferred.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity.
• Treat patients with chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications.
• Set up and monitor oxygen delivery at prescribed rates.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and families on medication usage and equipment.
• Perform other duties within the RRT scope.
