Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 14-week assignment in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will provide advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary disorders, work with physicians to implement treatment plans, and support a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires an RRT with NBRC credentials, valid Texas license, at least one year of recent experience, and current BLS. ACLS or PALS is preferred.

Qualificações

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS or PALS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples.
• Treat patients through methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications.
• Set up and monitor oxygen therapy and delivery rates.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and/or family on medications and equipment use.
• Perform other duties within the scope of RRT practice.
