Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a critical access hospital night shift role requiring 3+ years of adult critical care and emergency department experience.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and airway procedures across ED, ICU, and Med Surg, with 3x12 hour nights (18:00-06:30) and at least every other weekend. Epic EMR experience is required, and travel experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Active RRT certification required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of adult critical care and ED experience.
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred.
• Pediatric and NICU/Pediatric Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across ED, ICU, and Med Surg in a critical access hospital.
• Night shift: 3x12 hour Shifts, 18:00–06:30.
• Weekend work at minimum every other weekend; may increase.
• Float within four campus locations: Bend, Redmond, Prineville, Madras.
• Work independently in a critical access hospital setting.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• On-call is voluntary.
• Ventilator management, ABG interpretation, airway management.
• Pediatric equipment and procedures experience preferred.
