Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 16-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. Immediate opening with 1 year of acute care experience and required BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be needed depending on location.

The RT will provide direct patient care across clinical areas, perform respiratory and cardiology modalities, document care, and maintain equipment while collaborating with the care team to ensure safe and effective

Qualifications

• 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required in some areas.
• RRT credential or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate and maintain equipment.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff to ensure continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
