Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Windsor, Vermont. The role involves 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with travel responsibilities and a tax‑free stipend may be determined.

The RT should have 1 year of acute care experience and relevant certifications (BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required in some areas). You will provide direct patient care, document care, and operate respiratory equipment as part of a coordinated team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain patient records/documentation.
• Assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff to optimize care.
• Respond to emergent respiratory situations.
