Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Windsor, Vermont. The role offers a 36-hour work week with 12-hour night shifts in a travel staffing capacity.

The candidate should have proven RRT experience, CPR/BCLS certification current, and is expected to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure quality patient care during the COVID-19 crisis.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Repertory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Performing timely and accurate documentation
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Teaching and counseling patients/families
