Job summary

Wellspring Nurse Source seeks a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment in Windsor, Vermont. The role involves independent practice with ventilators, ABG collection, and airway management for a diverse patient population from pediatric to geriatric.

Three 12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours) over a 13-week duration, with some weekends/holidays as needed. Travel experience and Vermont RRT license are required; Cerner EMR familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of current Registered Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Certification from NBRC.
• Experience with ventilators, non-invasive ventilation, and PAP modalities.
• Experience in critical access, community, or rural hospital settings.
• Willingness to learn new skills including home sleep testing and pulmonary rehabilitation.
• Minimum 6 months travel experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR.
• Vermont RRT license required.
• Must have access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with invasive and non-invasive ventilation and arterial blood gases.
• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment under supervision of the Technical Director of Respiratory Therapy.
• Provide patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations.
• Handle diverse clinical challenges across facilities.
