Job summary

Thrive Staffing is seeking a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Marshfield, Missouri. This travel role requires 48 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, and an ASAP start.

The RT will assess patients, administer respiratory therapies, manage equipment, and collaborate with the care team. Relevant NBRC credentials and state licensing are required, with travel compensation and stipends included.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and treating respiratory conditions.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology related to respiratory care.
• Ability to assess patient status and respond to changes in respiratory condition.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with respiratory issues and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Administer oxygen therapy, ventilation, and other treatments.
• Set up and monitor respiratory equipment (ventilators, CPAP, oxygen devices).
• Respond to emergencies requiring rapid respiratory interventions.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and device use.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to plan care.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans.
• Assist in pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
