Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract in Carthage, Tennessee. The role involves 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts within a dynamic respiratory care team.

The candidate will develop patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and nurses, provide respiratory therapies, and document proceedings while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Repertory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Performing timely and accurate documentation
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Teaching and counseling patients/families
